The Wisconsin Technology Council hosted a presentation and conversation focused on BMW's investment in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
Economist Joey Von Nessen explained how that investment in Spartanburg County has had a positive economic impact on that region and on the rest of the state when BMW developed its manufacturing facility.
"It's often important not to 'reinvent the wheel' and to learn from the successes and mistakes of others in similar settings," said Tom Still, Wisconsin Technology Council President. "That's what Von Nessen can do to help Wisconsin as the Foxconn project gets formally underway."
