Joint Village, County, RCEDC Statement On Forward Momentum

Last week, Mount Pleasant Village President David DeGroot, Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave and RCEDC Executive Director Jenny Trick issued the following statement regarding the forward momentum of the Foxconn Project in the Village of Mount Pleasant:

"We have seen tremendous progress in Racine County as a result of Foxconn's investment, including new jobs and business for local companies , increased opportunities for area residents who have been connected with employment and training opportunities and the announcement of significant new developments .

We congratulate Governor-elect Evers and look forward to working with him and the incoming administration to ensure that we continue to maximize the benefits of this transformational project for our entire community."
