Foxconn to Build North American HQ for Company's Industrial Internet Branch in Racine County

Recently, Foxconn Technology Group and its contractors released a Request For Proposal (RFP) inviting companies to bid for work on another building on the company's Mount Pleasant advanced manufacturing campus.

The work outlined in the RFP relates to the construction of a building to house the North American headquarters of Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii), the industrial internet arm of the company.

As reported by the Milwaukee Business Journal, Fii "focuses on automation and networking systems for intelligent manufacturing. Internationally, the company has 3,736 patents that include tech to make smartphone components and internet of things tech to automate manufacturing processes."
