Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII) Plans Additional Manufacturing Plant

Plans recently submitted to the Village of Mount Pleasant show an additional manufacturing facility being planned for Foxconn's Wisconn Valley Science and Technology Park.

Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii), the arm of the company that focuses on automation and networking systems for intelligent manufacturing, has submitted plans for facilities that would house manufacturing, shipping and office operations, primarily making components for computer server racks.

“State of the art stamping equipment is being planned within the facility along with server rooms and shipping and receiving docks,” the Fii plans said.
