Accountability without inefficiency

"I’ve heard some concerns over the Foxconn project in relation to the environmental aspects of state legislation and what it means for our community. If you read the legislation, it’s clear that exemptions included in the state legislation were designed to streamline a duplicative and burdensome process. The company will be required to comply with all state and federal air, water quality, solid and hazardous waste standards — and there are also specifics around how the company will need to address any wetland impacts."
