The Mount Pleasant Village Board recently approved an agreement to encourage additional commercial development along Highway 20 where the new Advocate Aurora Health medical center will be built. The $228 million medical center will be constructed on an 86-acre site close to I-94 and Highway 20. Construction is expected to begin in September, with a grand opening anticipated in early 2022.
