State Approves Contract with Foxconn
Last week, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. board approved the state's contract with Foxconn. To learn more about the approved contract, see the WEDC's fact sheet.
This is a major step forward for the project. In addition to the state contract, a local contract is being developed for consideration by Village officials later this month.
Upcoming Meetings
On Friday, November 10, the Mount Pleasant Village Board and the Mount Pleasant Plan Commission will hold a public hearing regarding an amendment to the Village's Master Plan to designate the Foxconn project area as business park land (view agenda here). The Board and Commission will also hear public comment on a zoning change to the project area to rezone it as business park land (view agenda here).
