Eastern Racine County Transportation Task Force Holds First Meeting

The Eastern Racine County Transportation Task Force met for the first time last week as it begins work to solve two major challenges: reducing travel times from I-94 to Downtown Racine, and moving workers to jobs. The Task Force got off to a great start, with good conversation among a cross-section of Eastern Racine County community leaders, advocates, and residents.

The task force will continue to meet at 5 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month through August. Meetings are typically held at Ives Grove, though April's meeting is at Mount Pleasant Village Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
